Ward Erroll Isenburg Jr.

PORTSMOUTH -- A man with knife robbed a Portsmouth bank on Wednesday.

Police say Ward Erroll Isenburg Jr., 49, of Suffolk, walked into the Wachovia Bank in the 5800 block of High Street West in Churchland around 10:30 a.m.

They say he pulled a knife at the counter, demanded cash and then walked out.

He was arrested by responding police who saw him not far from the bank.

Isenburg is in jail on charges of robbery and entering a bank armed with intent to commit robbery.
