NORFOLK - They put in a lot of work on the field, going 7-0-1 for the regular season, heading to the playoffs with a first seed position. One thing will be missing for the Campostella Titans Tiny Mites: their new jerseys. It's not that they're on back order, or that someone botched them up. Somebody took the jerseys (all but one) which were in Coach Dominic Perry's minivan. In fact, it wasn't just the jerseys that were stolen. Whoever took them stole the minivan.

“It was a disaster,” says Perry. “I wanted my vehicle, but, most important was those jerseys in there for the kids.”

Portsmouth police found the minivan late Thursday night. Perry says it was taken from the rear parking lot of Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk where he works.
